Meaningful bracelet on a wooden table beside old photographs, handwritten letters, and keys, illustrating the reflection "Why do we lose ourselves?"

Why do we lose ourselves?

Sometimes it happens so quietly
that we don't even notice.

Life keeps moving.

Days become weeks.

Weeks become years.

And somewhere along the way,
we begin to drift away
from the person we once knew so well.

Not because we chose to.

But because little by little,
our attention is gradually drawn
to everything around us...

and less and less
to what quietly lives within us.

And yet...

some things never stop waiting for us.

A familiar melody.

A place.

A handwritten letter.

A meaningful object that stayed.

A symbol that quietly became
part of our journey.

Time passes.

We change.

But somehow,
they still know how to reach us.

Not all at once.

Just enough
to awaken something
we thought had disappeared.

Perhaps this is why
some meaningful objects
stay with us.

Not because they belong
to the past.

But because they quietly protect
a part of who we are...

until we are ready
to carry it ourselves again.

Perhaps this is what makes them
more than objects.
