When does an object become more than an object?

Not all objects are the same.

Some remain exactly what they are.

But some
become something more.

Not because of how they look,
but because of the connection that forms with them.

Through the moments they are part of.
Through the way they stay close to you, without effort.

And somewhere along the way,
without anything changing on the outside,
what they mean begins to change.

They are no longer just something you have.

They become something that stays with you.

And maybe then you understand something simple:

It is not the object that gains value.

It is the connection that is built with it.
