Does everything meaningful need to be understood by others?
Have you ever tried to explain why something means so much to you...
and realized that the other person can understand your words, but never quite see what you see?
Maybe it is a song.
A place.
A photograph.
Something you have kept for years.
To anyone else, it exists exactly as it is.
But when you look at it, you also see everything that became part of it.
A person.
A moment.
A promise.
A part of your life.
Because we never look at things with our eyes alone.
We see them through everything we have lived.
The people we have loved.
The moments that changed us.
The promises we made.
The things we hoped for.
All of them quietly become part of the way we see the world.
The same can happen with a meaningful object or a handcrafted piece of jewelry.
Someone may notice its shape.
Its materials.
Its beauty.
But when you wear it, you may see something entirely different.
A person.
A promise.
A beginning.
A part of yourself.
The object is the same.
What you see in it is yours.
And perhaps that is why some meanings are so difficult to explain.
To truly understand them, someone would have to see, just for a moment, through your eyes.
And there is something beautiful in that.
Something can be visible to everyone...
and still hold an entire world that only you can see.
