What You No Longer Carry

There are things that leave quietly.
Leaving space behind them.
Not emptiness — but breath.

You don’t remember the exact moment you set them down.
There was no decision.
No brave declaration.

There was only tiredness.
And then — silence.

Not everything was heavy because it weighed much.
Some things were heavy because they were never yours.
Roles.
Expectations.
Endurance you were never asked to offer.

You notice it now in the way you walk.
Less tense.
Less ready to explain.
Less willing to apologize.

Not everything became easier.
But everything became clearer.

You know what you no longer need to carry.
What no longer needs proving.
What no longer needs holding just to be “enough”.

What remains is not absence.
It is space.

Space to stand without strain.
Space to listen without defense.
Space to move without weight.

Growth is not always about what you add.
Sometimes, it is about what you no longer carry.

And that —
changes everything.

Sometimes, growth
is not visible in what you gained —
but in what you chose to leave behind.

Hold Ground
